Gee, Tumblr. I’m not sure about this new post editing UI. Like… not like. Preview button buried. No click-through link option (that I can find) and I’ve lost my cached tags which had saved me a ton of typing.

Of course some of those may be missing-e features, cuz m-e tends to provide the things I was wanting so seamlessly it seems, heh, like they are part of the core product. Anyway, I hope that stuff gets addressed so my posting can stay as fast & fun as possible.

The Missing-e browser extension rocks so hard it’s embarrassing. It gives you functionality that you may or may not know you were missing. Tumblr begrudges the m-e innovations somewhat and has a bogie-full warning when you use it. Consider it, but I’d encourage you to install it over their protestations. You can read missing-e’s official response if you like. But man m-e is seriously full of win sauce to top off the win-sundae that is Tumblr. also: Win! I will stop that now.

Looks like Tumblr has finally implemented their “Fast Reblog” feature. To use it, hold down the Alt key and click on a reblog button on a dashboard post. Voila, reblogged!
