A few more images I found for my Martini presentation last week (some I used and some I didn’t). The best may be that pic of Marilyn Monroe & and the poet Carl Sandburg in 1962, just before she died. Top photo by me at Nepenthe, Big Sur. I’d like to go back there now, please.
A few pix from today’s fantastical #BBingenuity event. Being a mutant was never so much (in meat space)!!
As we head back into the city after a lovely Friday up north, crossing the Golden Gate and heading for okay Mexican food with sensational tequila… Oh San Francisco you’re so much fun.
Just a reminder that I’m helping get another remarkable SF institution started up: the Long Now Salon. An incredible design, to make a place that will celebrate conversation and long-term thinking. And serve incredible tea and cocktails. It fits San Francisco well I think.
Do you know about the Long Now Bristlecone Gin? The next 10,000 years will have a lot of happy hours. :) And, happy weekend!
Images of The Decameron which I’m performing in tonight and tomorrow. All shots are by me from a performance a week ago.
There are 10 acts each night. Amazing stuff. I’m writing and performing an original spoken piece each night, based on that night’s theme.
There are three more performances in total, through Sunday night. At the Firehouse at Fort Mason Center.
