Help Attaboy Get His New Book Published!
Take a look at this Kickstarter and consider helping Attaboy (of Hi Fructose magazine) in the final 48 hours of his campaign to publish an awesome children’s book. Get books and great limited edition art for your support! It’s a great thing to support.

Continuing with the animal posts: here’s a wee zebra. I think I’ll do animals for the rest of the week, I have some great ones saved up.

Remember that show that I was in last month turning Attaboy’s book “You Might Be A Monster” into a stage performance? There’s a video of the whole thing online now. An all-star local cast in full effect performing this charming, imaginative, and FUNNY work. Really good stuff.
The opening act (local legend Blinky “the rock god”) runs a little long—the main show starts at 8:30 or so.

I’ve been blogging a ton of cool stuff over on my new sugarchurch tumblr blog. Sugarchurch is my character in Left-Handed Darling and the blog features stuff that is reminiscent of the show. Freaks, circuses, vaudeville, and stuff from the late 19th Century to the 30’s. Please check it out, if that sounds good.
Here’s an old ad that… I don’t know what to say. Is it freak-envy going on here?
Corset ad for children 1891
“Sensible mothers… Beautiful children”. A vintage ad for child corsets. Who’s the freak now?
