From 2012: “We shared some things. Not all things.” by exit-deer. The circle and a muted palette not dissimilar from the Parish painting qualify these to be today’s twin postings.

A few photos I took earlier this year at Creator’s Project San Francisco back in March. Art and tech colliding in incredible shapes and sounds. But I never got around to posting about it. Lots of fun stuff. Unfortunately I couldn’t take photos of the remarkable David Bowie recreation by Barney Clay using vintage video footage of 70’s Bowie singing “Life on Mars” shot by Mick Rock. Fortunately there’s the video featurette below which gives a glimpse (at the end) of the video and a lot of background on the project:

I notice any time Ryan gets into trouble explaining economic issues, he starts using the word “baseline” a lot. It’s not really that complicated of a word, but I think it’s meant to scare people off, like, “Don’t mess with me, I’ll start talking about baselines.” To me, it just smacks of a guy who’s trying too hard. And it’s meant to end the conversation before someone who does know what they’re talking about discovers he has no idea.
Bill Maher with some good perspective on GOP VP candidate. Also a must if you’re planning a drinking game for tonight. -
